A youth delegation from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was chased, physically assaulted, and had their vehicles vandalized while inspecting a dilapidated government school in Jaipur district on Friday. The confrontation occurred in Rampura-Kanwarpura village within the Bagru constituency. It happened when party volunteers arrived to audit basic infrastructure, classroom safety, and student amenities.
Party leaders alleged that ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers orchestrated the assault to intimidate youth activists. Moreover, they aimed to suppress public scrutiny of deteriorating rural education standards.
Violent Confrontation During ‘School Thik Karo’ Campaign
The inspection was part of the CJP’s ongoing statewide ‘School Thik Karo’ (Fix Schools) initiative aimed at assessing government educational facilities. When party workers, including co-convener Ashutosh Ranka, approached the primary school premises, a hostile mob blocked their entry. Additionally, the mob pelted stones and smashed the windows of their vehicles.
Visuals shared on social media showed activists being chased out of the village. Moreover, several volunteers sustained minor injuries during the scuffle.
CJP Highlights Dilapidated School Running from Cattle Shed
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and Ashutosh Ranka condemned the violence, alleging that the state machinery tried to conceal acute governance failures. The party claimed that the government primary school building had decayed to the point of being unsafe. As a result, young children were forced to attend classes inside a nearby buffalo shed for several years.
CJP leaders questioned why local authorities allowed political workers to intimidate volunteers rather than addressing crumbling school infrastructure. Meanwhile, some local residents claimed they opposed the visit to prevent external political drama in the village.

The violent episode triggered an immediate political storm in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Consequently, it led to heated exchanges between the ruling benches and the opposition.
Opposition Congress leaders strongly condemned the assault on youth activists. In addition, they accused the state government of using muscle power to silence legitimate questions on public education.
In response, treasury benches dismissed the allegations. They asserted that the administration remains committed to school upgrades and accused opposition-backed groups of attempting to disrupt academic environments.
