High drama unfolded outside Parliament as the showdown between the government and the Opposition escalated. Opposition leaders staged intense protests near the Makar Dwar and the Gandhi statue. They demanded direct answers from Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, ruling alliance leaders hit back immediately. They accused the Opposition of disrespecting Parliament and obstructing national development.

Opposition Escalates Attack Over Student Action and Donation Row

Led by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, INDIA bloc leaders gathered with placards and banners. MPs raised slogans demanding a formal statement from Amit Shah regarding alleged police action against student protesters in Delhi.

Rahul Gandhi questioned who authorized the use of force on students. He asserted that the Home Minister must take direct responsibility for the action.

The Opposition also placed a symbolic donation box at the protest site. They alleged serious financial irregularities and theft concerning donations to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav joined the demonstration. They stated that transparency on student welfare and temple funds remains completely non-negotiable.

BJP Hits Back: Accuses Opposition of Disrespecting Faith

Treasury benches launched a sharp counter-attack against the Opposition’s claims. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju criticized Congress and its allies for repeatedly disrupting House proceedings.

Rijiju stated that the government offered a complete debate on student issues with a response from Home Minister Amit Shah. However, he alleged that the Opposition chose to run away from constructive dialogue.

Ruling coalition leaders further claimed that the Opposition is using the Ram Temple issue purely to stall legislative work. They argued that Congress and its partners have consistently opposed the temple initiative and continue to hurt public sentiment.

Parliamentary Logjam Continues Without Breakthrough

The continuous protest vs protest dynamic has crippled legislative business inside both Houses. Despite multiple attempts to hold debates and pass key bills, repeated adjournments have marked the ongoing session.

Both sides remain firmly locked in their positions. The Opposition insists on top-level accountability, while the government accuses them of playing partisan politics.
